The availability and closeness of the Ochtum habour predestines our site in Lemwerder for the production of large components needed for the offshore application.

CARBON ROTEC manufactures rotor blades for multi-megawatt-class wind energy plants.
As an independent rotor blade producer, CARBON ROTEC manufactures exclusively to customers' own design specifications (built to print). Before the actual rotor blade production, the blade design is matched to an optimum production process in close cooperation with the customer.
Because of its ideally located production sites and many years' experience of rotor blade manufacture, CARBON ROTEC has specialized chiefly in the the construction of very large rotor blades as used in offshore applications.
But with this longstanding experience, CARBON ROTEC is also a reliable constructor of rotor blades for onshore applications.

Since the 1980s, we have been producing rotor blades using fiber composite technology. Currently, >we make some of the world’s largest onshore rotor blades from glass fiber and carbon/glass fiber composites for turbines with rotor diameters of around 120 m.
At CARBON ROTEC, rotor blades are produced exclusively by the vacuum infusion process using epoxy resins. This process allows the reproducible manufacture of large rotor blades with high laminate quality.
CARBON ROTEC is gradually introducing automation into the predominantly manual production areas in order to achieve cost and quality objectives at the same time.
